When Via launched Mode Preference in its Remix product, the challenge was communicating a complex new feature to a broad audience of transit professionals. To solve this, I designed and storyboarded a series of instructional GIFs to accompany an introductory blog post. The visuals broke down how dispatchers and schedulers could prioritize microtransit or fixed-route service using mode preference, translating nuanced functionality into clear, approachable, and bite-size gifs.
